Snickers Rice Krispie Slice: Chocolate, Snickers Bars, Peanut Butter and Rice Krispies. Absolutely boss combination. No baking required, a short amount of fridge chill time, and a great one to get children involved in. This is the best nostalgic recipe that is truly foolproof.
This is one of those snacks that is great for really any occasion. Great to make on a Saturday morning to snack on over the weekend. Great for a bake sale, for the office, for friends, for picnics (although keep an eye out for melting if the weather is warm) and just to eat out the tray. I often think this is the best baking, where no oven is required, only a few ingredients and some simple steps get you to eating delicious food and feeling accomplished.
For this recipe, I use the 41.7g size Snickers, out of a multipack. Do be conscious of this if buying the fun size or single bars. Also, I use standard puffed rice cereal, any will work, including GF variations. I use milk chocolate for the topping but if you like it a bit more grown up, use dark chocolate or a combination of the two.

Snickers Rice Krispie Slice (No Bake)
Makes: 8 Triangles (8″ square tin)
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Chill Time: 1 Hour
Total Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 4 Snickers Bars, Chopped (See note above about size)
- 90g Rice Krispies Cereal
- 200g Milk Chocolate
- 2 Tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter
Method
- Line an 8′ square tin.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter and chopped Snickers bars. Heat over a low/medium heat until everything has melted and combined.
- Remove from the heat and gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until entirely coated in the snickers mixture. Pour into the lined tin, spread to the edges and push down a little to flatten it. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Melt the milk chocolate in a bowl, microwaving in 20 second intervals. Once melted, pour over the set snickers/Rice Krispie layer.
- Melt the peanut butter (10 second intervals in the microwave) until runny. Pour over the chocolate in lines, and use a knife/cocktail stick to ‘feather’ (see Instagram for ‘how to’). Chill for a further 30mins – 2 hours, until set.
- Use a hot knife to cut into triangles (cut into quarters, then half these into triangles). Serve, keeping in the fridge in between!
