Brownies, peanut butter filling and melted chocolate go together so well, and result in a really easy but really exciting bake!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The brownies themselves are super simple, dense and fudgy. They then get layered with a peanut butter filling and topped with melted dark chocolate! The layers all work together really well, and do need some chill time in the fridge to set before slicing and serving. For neat slices, cut with a hot knife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">For these brownies, we rely heavily on the melted butter and light brown sugar to give the fudgy texture and super shiny topping. You could make these for a bake sale \u2013 and the recipe is easily doubled. They keep well in an airtight container for a few days. You could use dark brown soft if you\u2019re really in a pinch. Light brown is definitely your best friend in brownies.<\/li><li>Melted Butter: This is what gives brownies that oh so Instagrammable shiny, crisp top. Don\u2019t skip this step!<\/li><li>Cocoa Powder: As this is a key component, I do recommend a decent quality cocoa powder \u2013 but don\u2019t stress if you don\u2019t have any!<\/li><li>Peanut Butter: I prefer using a cheaper\/less natural version of peanut butter due to the structure it gives. If using natural, you may find you need more icing sugar.
