The result is dense and delicious, perfect for something a little different from a classic brownie. Being so fun and simple to make, they&#8217;re great for a night in with friends or to make for a bake sale! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The easy brownie recipe is packed full of chocolate and Oreos before we even get to the topping! The combination of creamy topping with crunchy Oreos makes for a great texture contrast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">For the brownie layer, we rely heavily on the melted butter and light brown sugar to give the fudgy texture and super shiny topping. For the cheesecake topping, you make a really simple mixture in a bowl and pour it over the brownies. I then add on lots of crushed Oreos. This is a fantastic topping for these brownies, but pairs well with cake and other things too! You could use dark brown soft if you\u2019re really in a pinch. Light brown is definitely your best friend in brownies.<\/li><li>Melted Butter: This is what gives brownies that oh so Instagrammable shiny, crisp top. Don\u2019t skip this step!<\/li><li>Cheesecake: Combine this in a small bowl. Full fat cream cheese works best (of course) and use granulated\/caster sugar. To swirl, use a chopstick or a knife!<\/li><li>Cocoa Powder: As this is a key component, I do recommend a decent quality cocoa powder \u2013 but don\u2019t stress if you don\u2019t have any!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">For my Oreo Cheesecake Brownies, I use a basic 8\u2032 square pan (<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2TmR6SP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I like this one<\/a>).
