Combine to form a dough. It should come together but be pretty sticky. If not, add more water.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Knead using the dough hook attachment or your hands on a lightly floured work surface for about 8 minutes (it should be soft, smooth but still sticky). Oil the bowl you used for the dough, place the dough back in it, cover with a tea towel and let rest for an hour \u2013 until doubled in size.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Punch the dough down and we&#39;re going to &quot;fold&quot; it. Pick up one side of the dough, stretch it up and fold over onto the rest of the dough. Rotate the bowl 90 degrees and repeat 3 more times. Let rest 30 minutes. Repeat, letting rest another 30 minutes before starting the next step.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Pre-heat the oven to 225\u2103\/450\u2109. Generously drizzle oil over a 9 inch square pan.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Tip the dough into the pan, pushing gently to the edge. Dimple by pressing your fingertips into the dough, working at an angle to form those classic bubbles.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Slice your brie and place on top of the dough. Let rest while the oven heats up.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-7\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Bake for 20 minutes &#8211; until the top looks golden and crispy.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3953-step-0-8\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">After removing from the oven, but while still warm, brush with more oil and the honey. This will help to keep it moist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Store in a Bread Box or Paper Bag:<\/strong> Place the wrapped focaccia in a bread box or paper bag to allow for some air circulation while keeping it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Consume Within 2 Days:<\/strong> Ideally, consume the focaccia within 1-2 days while it&#8217;s still at its freshest.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Refrigerating Your Focaccia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Wrap Well:<\/strong> Use cling film or aluminum foil to wrap your focaccia tightly, which will help to preserve moisture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Seal in a Bag:<\/strong> Place the wrapped bread into a sealable plastic bag to avoid absorbing other food odors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Use Within 4-5 Days:<\/strong> Refrigerated focaccia should be consumed within 4-5 days. Properly stored, frozen focaccia can last for up to 3 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Thaw and Reheat:<\/strong> Thaw at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
