For this Copycat Costa: Vegan Chocolate Tiffin you only need a few simple ingredients and some time to chill in the fridge for an elite bake. This is definitely one to share with friends – vegan or not, they’ll all want some. Feel free to sub out various ingredients for your preferred biscuits\/chocolate. Also, if you don’t need it to be vegan, feel free to use normal chocolate and butter, it will still work perfectly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who are unsure of what to make of this – tiffin is simply chocolate, biscuits and any other add ins you want. In this recipe I add a layer of melted chocolate and various toppings to make it even better. There is no baking required so you can make this ahead of time and serve once ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Tiffin is a copycat of the Costa Coffee version, in collaboration with the Vegan food legends, BOSH. That is, except without all the additives\/preservatives and other unwanted ingredients. Copycat Costa: Vegan Chocolate Tiffin (BOSH style)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Makes: 9 Slices (8″ Square Tin)
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Chill Time: 1 Hour
Total Time: 1 Hour 10 Mins<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the base:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 350g Dark Chocolate<\/li>
  • 75g Vegan Butter <\/li>
  • 3 Tbsp Golden Syrup<\/li>
  • 150g Digestive Biscuits, Crushed<\/li>
  • 100g Raisins<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    For the Top:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 200g Dark Chocolate<\/li>
    • 40g Oreos, crushed<\/li>
    • Vegan Fudge Pieces\/Vegan Chocolate chips<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. Line an 8″ square tin.<\/li>
      2. In a large heatproof bowl, add the chocolate, butter and golden syrup. Set over a pan of simmering water (Bain Marie) and stir until combined and glossy.<\/li>
      3. Turn off the heat. Add the raisins and crushed biscuits to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until combined.<\/li>
      4. Pour this mixture into the tin. Push to the sides.<\/li>
      5. Melt the other 200g dark chocolate in a microwave, checking\/stirring at 20 second intervals. Once melted, pour on top of the biscuit base.<\/li>
      6. Sprinkle over the crushed Oreos\/fudge pieces\/anything else!<\/li>
      7. Let set in the fridge for at least an hour (overnight is fine!). Once set, cut with a hot knife for perfectly smooth slices!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
